The Chongqing Acrobatic Troupe spent two years meticulously creating and arranging the performance, which showcased its 70 years of artistic accumulation and creative strength. The play is based on the ecological changes in the Yangtze River Basin from the 1990s to the present, and connects the true stories of people along the river to protect the clear water of the river. Through the in-depth integration of acrobatics, dance, magic and modern stage technology, it vividly presents the theme of the Yangtze River's ecological changes and humanistic inheritance. It combines extreme skills with modern technology, and combines innovative narratives with a visual feast to fully demonstrate the majestic, gentle and flexible character of the Yangtze River.

The play's stage design is extremely innovative, using a 700-square-meter giant background, with 6 projectors for simultaneous projection, and 4 projectors on the ground to achieve interactive mapping, creating a 3D film and television-level immersive three-dimensional space. The stage design not only outlines the unique river charm of the mountain city, integrates Chongqing's landscape features, accurately restores iconic scenes such as stilted buildings, but also brings the Baiheliang underwater stone monument replica to the stage, allowing the audience to touch the historical heritage of the Yangtze River between light and shadow.

In addition to the unique stage design, the chief lighting designer Wu Leiping pays more attention to the 'breathing' of light. He said that the most important thing is to give 'Yangtze River' a soul and transform the breath of the river into light and shadow on the stage.

The holographic projection and other lighting devices on the stage emit light in synergy. Only through careful coordination can the light effects avoid mutual cancellation and interference, allowing the audience to embark on a light and shadow journey where they can see the heartbeat of the Yangtze River. To this end, 72 VDF-KINETIC customized triangular mirrors are arranged above the stage to form a matrix effect. Each triangular mirror is equipped with 3 VDF-KINETIC Equipped with the T20A, each set of lifting mirrors can be raised and lowered synchronously or in a staggered manner, simulating the wave texture of the Yangtze River and vividly restoring the majestic texture of the surging Yangtze River. At the same time, the triangular mirrors reflect ground beams during the lifting process, creating a brilliant and clear 'panoramic' three-dimensional fantasy space.

VDF-KINETIC T20A has outstanding performance and is safe and reliable: the load is up to 15KG, the lifting height is 9 meters, the static load of the load-bearing line is greater than 300KG, and the lifting torque is greater than 300 Nm; it is equipped with dual physical brakes, slack rope alarm function and TEAMWORK communication (can prevent pulling when used in combination), and can realize E-STOP emergency braking with the handle, building a comprehensive stage safety defense line.
