VDF Micro-Calling Participation Case: Musical "Baoyu"

The musical "Baoyu" premiered at the Nanjing Poly Theatre on April 25th, kicking off a nationwide tour across 14 cities.

Inspired by Dream of the Red Chamber, the production reinterprets the classic story through Baoyu’s perspective, weaving together Eastern aesthetic staging and innovative musical storytelling to guide audiences on a poignant journey of growth, destiny, and self-discovery.

The lighting design brilliantly merges classical hues with modern光影艺术 (light-shadow artistry), crafting a visually striking and emotionally immersive stage experience.

The production leveraged GINYU dmx winch hoist (Model T20T) paired with ACME professional lighting systems to achieve multi-dimensional staging—from precise spotlight tracking for performers to immersive ambient scene-setting.

First things is Safety & Reliability of dmx motor. The winch Load capacity: >300KG static / 25KG dynamic. Lifting torque: >400Nm. Meanwhile the kinetic lighting system dmx winch have Dual physical brakes + anti-drop rope protection. The very big differnce with other is GINYU winch have Teamwork function. It means when we use 3 winch for 1 group, 1 motor not working, in the group 2 motor also will stop working to protect.
