VDF KINETIC micro-hanging lights up the opening and closing ceremonies of 2026 Chongqing International Animation Film Week

The 2026 Chongqing International Animation Film Week, with the theme of 'Intelligent Drawing Without Boundaries and All Things Competing', will kick off the opening show at the Yongchuan Science and Technology Studio Phase II on June 9, and the closing ceremony will be held simultaneously on June 13. The event brought together more than 700 original animation works at home and abroad, with more than 12,000 offline viewers, more than 270 million online topic reads, and a live broadcast peak of 380,000 online viewers, making it an annual phenomenon-level animation cultural event. The opening and closing ceremonies connect the diverse chapters of national style classics, science fiction trends, and overseas animation, relying on cutting-edge stage lifting machinery and dynamic stage lighting technology to interpret the unique charm of animation, and continue to polish Yongchuan's 'International Animation Capital' city card.

This grand event has created a super large composite immersive stage, integrating a giant animation screen, a lifting device mechanical platform, an open-air waterscape and a full set of professional light and shadow systems to build an all-round immersive audio-visual space suitable for animation narratives.

Qin Jiangyun and Bian Shenghai served as the main lighting designers, while Wang Biao, Cao Li, and Wang Helin were responsible for on-site lighting control and execution. The entire lighting program was coordinated and completed by Beijing Zhonghe Guangyao Culture Media Co., Ltd.
