From March 7th to 8th, 2026, the Douyin Music Festival was held grandly at the Sanya Sports Center. As an annual large-scale music and content event, this year's ceremony has the theme of 'Together for Love'. Nearly a thousand anchors and many audiences gathered at the scene, and witnessed this important moment with more audiences through online live broadcast.

Ma Nan serves as the general director of this event, and the lighting design is performed by Lu Xiaowei of the EYE Studios team as the lighting design director. The creative team uses multi-dimensional stage visual language to create a stage performance with both scale and artistic expression.

The stage design revolves around the concept of 'loving the forest'. The vertically extending columnar screen and space structure make the stage look like a growing forest. The screen matrix changes between different heights, forming a layered stage space. When the structure hangs low, the stage is surrounded by a forest of light and shadow; when the device rises and unfolds, the space quickly becomes open and transparent. The entire ceremony was promoted through the content of three chapters, and the visual expression of 'love to grow' was continuously strengthened through changes in music, lighting and stage structure.



The core of the visual changes on the stage is reflected in the dynamic structure of the lighting system. Nearly a hundred VDF-KINETIC micro-cranes (50KG level, 15M lifting stroke) were deployed on the main stage of this event to form a three-dimensional lighting matrix structure. As an important part of the entire stage kinetic energy device system, these VDF-KINETIC micro-suspended ACME Lighting's TB 5IP Tornado tornado effect lights and STROBE 3IP long strobe lights continuously change the height and spatial structure of the lights through synchronous lifting and lowering during the performance.




When the light array sinks as a whole, the dense beam of light makes the stage seem to be surrounded by light and shadow; when the array rises and expands, the space quickly opens up, forming a more depth-oriented stage vision. The coordinated operation of a large number of VDF-KINETIC micro-hanging kinetic energy lifting devices enables the lighting structure to be continuously reorganized as the program changes, bringing a rich and flexible visual hierarchy to the entire performance.




In terms of system design, the VDF-KINETIC micro-hanging T30TC can stably carry lamps and LED displays within 50 kilograms. It adopts a double hanging point and double wire structure to transmit 220V power all the way and DMX/RJ45 control signals all the way, so that the power supply and signals do not interfere with each other, ensuring the stable operation of the entire kinetic energy device system. Through the standard DMX512 control protocol, the VDF-KINETIC micro crane can be controlled in conjunction with the lighting console, and supports time code triggering and music synchronization, so that lighting changes and stage lifting movements form a unified dynamic expression. As the demand for stage space expression for large-scale performances continues to increase, VDF-KINETIC micro-suspension is becoming an important part of the stage visual system.
